Midwifery meeting in Second Life

This evening I attended my first ever midwifery meeting in Second Life which was organized by Carolyn McIntosh.

It was great fun and I was very pleased to meet midwives from the UK and USA. We all agreed that we were interested in continuing with regular meetings. But the technology continues to be a challenge. Here is a short video about my experience and impressions.

Thanks for creating and sharing this video Sarah. I tried taking video rather than stills with jing in SL but it did not work. have seen video of SL and apparently it is taken with a program called FRAP. A very powerful computer is needed more than my system will handle I think.
I will have to sit down with you and work out how you did this though.

Jing is OK for something quick and easy but I am beginning to realize that if you want something a little more permanent, you are better off using camtasia or a program like that.

Hi Sarah - Great to see your video and hear your voiceover. I have linked to this posting on my blog (http://arwennastardust.wordpress.com/) too - so hopefully others will find it as well.
